ELIGIBLE PROPOSERS
Proposers must meet the following minimum requirement(s):
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of operation as a legal entity.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in developing and implementing strategic communications, marketing, public affairs, public relations and/or marketing programs, as well as experience in social media strategy (both organic and paid), social media content development, crisis communications, brand consulting and/or narrative change strategy development.
- Neither the proposer, assigned staff or proposed subcontractors shall currently have, nor will they have, any conflict of interest with First 5 LA. The proposer shall be able to represent First 5 LA independently and free from competing obligations or alliances/affiliations with other agencies or firms.
Proposers that do not meet the minimum requirement(s) above will not pass the first level of review (see Section IX. Selection Process).
DESCRIPTION
First 5 LA is seeking qualifications from qualified individuals or firms that can provide the organization with strategic communications and social media expertise to support the development of strategies and messaging frameworks to reach and engage target audiences to advance the implementation of First 5 LA’s 2024-29 Strategic Plan and its four initiative areas.

DEADLINE TO APPLY
An online application packet complete with required documents must be received by First 5 LA no later than 5:00 pm PT on December 5, 2025. Please review the RFQ’s Timeline for Selection Process to ensure availability during the proposal review activities.
