DESCRIPTION

First 5 LA is seeking proposals from qualified contractors (without subcontractors) to engage up to five community-based organizations (CBOs) to help translate housing research into actionable, community-informed policy recommendations. This work ensures that First 5 LA’s housing policy and advocacy efforts reflect the lived experiences of families most affected by housing insecurity and inform the agency’s FY 2026–27 Housing Policy Agenda. Selected CBO partners will collaborate with First 5 LA and the Neighborhood Data for Social Change (NDSC) to validate findings, share community insights, and co-develop policy recommendations. CBOs will also contribute to refining performance measures related to reducing housing insecurity and participate in the First 5 LA Annual Summit (Spring 2026) to share key insights.
