Kanchana “Kanchi” Tate, LCSW, is a Mental Health Clinical Program Manager II with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, where she leads the development and administration of countywide prevention and early intervention initiatives. With more than 20 years of experience in mental health, she has provided clinical, administrative, and strategic leadership across mental health, child welfare, and education systems.
Kanchi oversees a diverse portfolio of prevention programs and partnerships designed to improve access to culturally responsive services for children, youth, families, and underserved communities. She is committed to advancing equity, strengthening cross-sector collaboration, and developing programs that improve behavioral health outcomes throughout Los Angeles County.
