Salt Dough Recipe
This holiday season, use salt dough for decoration, gifts (keychains or pendants), ornaments and more!
You will need:
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 cup water
- Mix flour and salt together in a bowl. Slowly mix water into flour mixture, a few tablespoons at a time, until dough is smooth and easy to handle. Knead dough for 10 minutes and let rest for 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- Form dough into desired shapes and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Bake until dry and hard (about two hours). Allow to cool completely. Paint as desired.
