DIY with Kids: Nature Paper
You will need:
Hammer or mallet
Flowers and leaves (e.g., pansies, nasturtiums and herbs)
Plain white paper or card stock
- Place flowers, leaves and herbs on paper or card stock with the front (colorful side) facing down. Separate plants so they are flat on the paper.
- Cover with parchment paper.
- Gently hammer the plant material, covering the entire area. Take care not to move the plant material, and watch your fingers!
- Carefully remove parchment paper and peel off or brush away leftover plant material. Cut the decorated paper to size and fold as a card, or attach it to a blank card.
