Bonding through Books: SPRING READING!

Babies are comforted by the sounds of their parents’ voices, and from the start one of the best ways to bond is by reading aloud. Making reading a part of your child’s regular routine every day helps develop early language, vocabulary and listening skills. In fact, studies show that children whose parents read to them regularly each day do better in school.

While experts recommend reading aloud for half an hour every day, any time spent with your child reading books, talking about your day or singing is useful for learning and bonding.
