First 5 LA Sponsors Family-Friendly Summer Concert Series at Levitt Pavilion

LOS ANGELES, CA — Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles hosts FREE Sunday concerts for families through Sept. 1, 2019. First 5 LA is a proud sponsor of the Sunday events, part of a larger concert series being held at Levitt Pavilion this summer.

The Sunday, June 2 concert was presented by Noches Ilegales and showcased the L.A.-based salsa orchestra Rumbankete. Parents and children marked their spots in front of Levitt Pavilion at MacArthur Park with blankets and strollers. Vendors, food trucks and various types of entertainment lined the perimeter of the concert area, all with the goal of serving Los Angeles families. Surrounded by the sounds of Latin music, mothers fed their young children and fathers chased after runaway balls.

As a main sponsor of the event, First 5 LA shared important parenting information with attendees. First 5 LA Parenting Guides, children’s books and pamphlets for future events that covered the table were easily accessible to anyone interested.

The purpose of these concerts is to offer easy and consistent entertainment for families with young children. More than the music, arts and crafts, it is the ability to bring family members together that makes events like this invaluable to children’s development.
