Best Start and First 5 LA get Ready to Learn!

Its never too early to start a childs learning and development. In fact, 90 percent of a childs brain develops in the first 3 years of life! With so much happening before children even set foot in school, parents are their first teachers. Parents can also provide the love, support and even healthy eating and exercise habits that are also important to a lifetime of successful learning.

This fall, First 5 LA and Best Start are putting Best Starts goals into action with our Ready to Learn! campaign. Best Start will be partnering with local organizations to host events, like backpack giveaways, share resources and more.

Stay tuned here at BestStartLA.org/ReadyToLearn to find tips and upcoming events in your community.

Ready to learn now? Start by checking out First 5 LAs Ready to Learn summer edition of the Family Guide.
