Cross-Cutting Approaches

First 5 LA’s Cross-Cutting Approaches (CCA) focuses on strengthening and supporting formal and informal support systems that contribute to family-centered communities where young children and their families can become resilient, safe, and secure.

CCA targets the achievement of these goals through an integrated set of approaches, including:

• Capacity Building
• Systems improvement
• Sustainability
• Data
• Policy and advocacy

Furthering its committment to the Cross-Cutting Approaches program, the First 5 LA Commission has renewed its strategic partnership with the Los Angeles County Children's Planning Council.
