Partnerships For Families is a child abuse prevention program designed to address the needs of pregnant women and families with children age five years or younger who are at risk for child maltreatment in Los Angeles County. In conjunction with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), our joint goal is the prevention of child maltreatment by ensuring that families with children eighteen years and under live in physically and emotionally safe environments. The program's objectives include:
A $50 million program, PFF services include: case management; concrete services; intensive services for special needs; family supports including access to early care and education; and referrals/linkages to auxiliary community supports. |
