Q. I am pregnant and exhausted all the time. What can I do to help this?
A. Have you ever felt so tired in your life?! Exhaustion, especially during the first trimester, can be overwhelming at times. The good news is that being tired (like nausea) shows that your pregnancy hormones are active—and your body is working hard to help your baby grow. Accepting this state as normal, resting and sleeping more, and eating nutritious food can help. Know that this is a temporary state and that you will feel less fatigued in a couple of months!
