Los Angeles Universal Preschool is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide access to high-quality preschool education to the children of Los Angeles County.

Since 2005, LAUP has touched the lives of nearly 50,000 preschool-aged children through enriching curricula and nurturing learning environments aimed at best preparing four-year-olds to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

LAUP provides quality preschool education to children regardless of their families' income, and its goal is to make quality preschool more accessible to families regardless of socio-economic status, because of the proven benefits to families and society as a whole.

LAUP is funded primarily by First 5 LA, with a goal to one day make quality preschool universally accessible to all children in Los Angeles County.
