Lancaster

There is a long tradition of collaboration in the Lancaster community. Although the area maintains a small-town feel, the transition from being a rural to an urban area is apparent as new city centers have popped up throughout the region. During this transition, community leaders laid a foundation of strong collaborations and relationships that have continued to develop over time.

Community leadership in Lancaster is specifically described as “passionate, cohesive, collaborative, having strong teamwork, committed and involved.” This type of community leadership, that can pull together different sectors to resolve community issues, is what can turn the community vision of Best Start into a reality.
