Program Funding: Community-Developed Initiatives
 
The agency provides alcohol abuse services, emergency food, holiday assistance, homeless support services, information and referral, mental health services, personal enrichment and shelter for low-income and homeless people in the Pasadena area.  Services are provided at two locations; mental health services and shelter intake are provided at Pacific Clinics - Passageways.

Funding For:
Family Center
The long-term outcome of the Family Center is to reduce the number of homeless families with children ages 0-5 primarily in the Western San Gabriel Valley (SPA 3) by providing the means to achieve self-sufficiency and stability. The Family Center will provide homeless families with a safe and secure place to live while receiving social services.  The social services provided to the families at the shelter will include the following:
1. Case management
2. Assistance in finding permanent housing
3. Securing an income source
4. Providing health care services
5. Parenting classes, living skills groups and tutoring
6. Literacy and basic computer skills
7. Short-term or respite child care services to allow the parent to keep appointments or deal with family stress.
The project is funded for five (5) years.
