The center provides mental health services, residential mental health services, welfare-to-work support services and services for people with disabilities primarily for residents of the San Fernando Valley, greater Los Angeles and the South Bay.

Funding For:
Partnerships for Families
Project SAFE (Support and Advocacy for Family Empowerment) will provide services to DCFS referred families and high-risk pregnant women with any of the following risk factors: mental health, substance abuse and/or domestic violence. The program will provide comprehensive services through a Collaborative of partnering agencies (listed above). Services include in-home counseling, case management, and concrete services for basic family needs, intensive services addressing mental health, domestic violence and substance abuse, access to child care and early education and linkages to auxiliary community supports. Efforts will also be made to reach out and engage community members and to grow our program capacity to better serve high-risk pregnant females. Project SAFE will continue to focus on providing family-driven services, which integrate families into the service planning and delivery process and will work to increase community capacity by developing a strong collaborative and shared access to resources. This is a five year grant.

Project SAFE - PFF Initiative

Early Intervention Center
The Young Learners Preschool and Stepping Stones program will target children ages 0-5 with special needs and their families in Los Angeles County. The program offers services including: 1) Therapeutic Preschool 2) Counseling (individual, family and group therapy, parent education, support groups and case management) 3) In-Home Counseling and Support and 4) Training Center (educational and clinical seminars to professionals and the community).
