The Heart Touch Project is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the training and delivery of compassionate and healing touch to homebound or hospitalized, men, women and children. Contact Information: 3400 Airport Avenue #42 Santa Monica, CA 90405 http://www.hearttouch.org Funding For: Touch Therapy for Hospitalized Children The Touch Therapy for Hospitalized Children project seeks to improve the health and well-being of hospitalized children 0-5 years of age in Los Angeles County through compassionate touch therapy. Through training workshops, educational demonstrations, and service coordination, Heart Touch Project will work with hospitals to train parents/caregivers, nurses, and qualified volunteers to administer touch therapy to pediatric patients such as premature and medically fragile infants, children in rehabilitation, and infants and children requiring long hospital stays. |
