FFN Training and Mentoring Project
The Center for Nonviolent Education and Parenting (CNVEP) will build on our established parenting and professional training classes with a multifaceted program to train licensed exempt family, friend, and neighbor caregivers of children 0 – 5 years old that reside in the Echo Park/Silver Lake/Pico Union area.  The proposed FFN Training Program will include courses based on our school readiness curriculum that is currently used onsite at our facility in Echo Park.  Additional components include one-to-one mentorship, ongoing support groups for mentors and mentees, social connection to the resources of the local community and enhanced systems for communication between and among all participants.
