The division provides adult education, immigration services, and job training programs for residents of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Contact Information: 18230 Kittridge St. Reseda, CA 91335 http://www.adultinstruction.org Funding For: Lemay Family Literacy Program The Lemay Family Literacy Program in the San Fernando Valley (SPA 2) is based on the four-component Kenan Model of Family Literacy, and operates five days a week. Program components will include parent education, adult education, early education and PACT time. New program enhancements will include an afternoon computer class that will fill the gap for computer literacy for families. To intensify the language and life skills education experiences of their families, and to enrich the program culturally, the program will include field trips and presentations by outside agencies. |
