Contact Information: 15435 Rayen St. North Hills, CA 91343 http://www.nvcsinc.org Funding For: Quiero Leer/Love to Read North Valley Caring Services (NVCS) program, Quiero Leer/Love to Read, is an expansion and enhancement of its Early Childhood Education Program. The program emphasizes family literacy through the expansion and enhancement of existing program components, and the addition of a fourth component, Parent and Child Intergenerational Learning Activities (PCILA). PCILA will be implemented using the FamilyRead curriculum which will enhance the Early Childhood Education Program - which is linked with on-site English as a Second Language instruction, parenting classes, a computer lab staffed by the San Fernando Valley Literacy Council, and comprehensive supportive services. |
