TOPIC: Understanding Oral Health Care for Young Children Birth to Five with Special Needs
South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, Oral Health Promotion Project
The presentation is interactive and participants will learn how to care for
the mouth of a young child, birth to five, with special needs. Participants will
learn about proper nutrition and healthy snacks, and will receive free dental
supplies and referral resources. Each participant will receive a training
certificate from the Oral Health Promotion Project.

Virginia Santos, RDA, BVE, Project Coordinator/Oral Health Educator
