Sixth Annual Statewide Promotoras/Community Health Workers Conference

Register to attend the sixth annual statewide Promotoras and Community Health Workers conference. This year they expect to have more than 1000 participants! During the two days of the conference, participants will have the opportunity to get to know each other as well to share, learn and celebrate their collective work in the community. Workshop topics include the following:

• Immigration and Integration
• The Promotor/CHW Mind, Body and Spirit
• Recognizing the value of my life and the life of others
• Taking Care of Our Environment
• The Risks and Challenges the Promotor Faces and how they Could Affect their Health and Security
• Family Preparedness/Response to Natural Disaster: Training the Trainer

Registration fee for Promotores/Community Health Workers will be $15.00, after November, 21 will increase to $20.00. The registration fee for non-Promotores/Community Health Workers attendees is $160.00, after November, 21 will increase to $165.00. Click here to register on-line
