Request for Proposal Due Date: Children's Institute, Inc. Project Fatherhood Community Grants Program

In 1996, Children's Institute, Inc. (CII) developed Project FatherhoodSM to address father absence by increasing the involvement of fathers in the lives and wellbeing of at-risk children. This funding opportunity provides support for expanding this model program in Los Angeles County. Grants of up to $50,000 each will be made to 10 - 15 small, community organizations to implement the program for one project year. An objective is for grantees to sustain their program beyond the funding period. This funding cycle is open to organizations in Service Planning Areas 1, 2 and 3.
