Reflective Supervision: Basic Training

Child Development Institute (CDI) presents Reflective Supervision: Basic Training. Presented by Barbara Stroud, PhD. CONTENT WILL INCLUDE:
Introducing participants to the underlying philosophy supporting the Reflective Supervision Model.
- Assisting current supervisors to build skills to utilize a Reflective Supervision Model to support a supervisees' understanding of parallel process, influences of counter-transference and strengthen objectivity.
- Support participants ability to articulate a reflective supervision model designed to enhance the competencies of newly developing clinicians
- Assist supervisors in utilizing the following techniques: scaffolding the supervisees' strengths, honoring cultural differences in the supervision, and creating an emotionally safe environment for supervision.
- Provide supervisors with the opportunity to problem solve challenging supervision dilemmas from a Reflective Supervision perspective.
