Navigating the Maze: Finding Your Way to Successfully Opening a Child Care Center
Individuals or organizations looking to open, expand or renovate a child care center may face multiple obstacles. Public Counsel’s Early Care & Education Law Project and four distinguished law firms will host a Roundtable to discuss common regulatory obstacles for child care operators. Topics will include finding an appropriate location, zoning, and/or applying for a discretionary permit. Roundtable attendees will participate in small discussion groups with land use experts/attorneys and receive useful tips for avoiding common regulatory obstacles.
