Multi-Cultural Fatherhood Treatment Group

Project ABC is proud to present this half-day workshop by Hershel K. Swinger, PhD. Dr. This training will address the critical need to engage biological fathers in the parenting of at-risk children. Low income and minority fathers representing diverse populations have participated in a male specific fatherhood group for the past twelve years. We will present both clinical and research findings from this groundbreaking program. Low income urban minority males with children in the Child Abuse & Neglect System have been stereotyped as uninvolved and uncaring with regard to their biological children. Join us in a discussion of a successful intervention program with this so-called hard to reach population.
