FREE ENTRY! ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES! OVER 75 EXHIBITS! FREE BOOKS!
This fair is part of a long-term education campaign led by Univision with the purpose of increasing parent involvement in their kids’ education and facilitating their understanding of the U.S. educational system. The ultimate goal is to reduce the Latino dropout rate and promote a college-going culture The summer Education Fair will welcome parents and students in a higher education setting to receive information on many of the higher education possibilities in California. Given the high volume of on air advertising for the fair, it is estimated that 10,000 parents and their K-12 children will attend.
There will be giveaways and hands-on activities. The event in completely free to the public.

La deserción escolar es un problema que nos afecta a todos, pero especialmente a los latinos, quienes representan las tasas de deserción más altas. Es por esto que como parte de sus iniciativas de servicio comunitario, Univision Los Ángeles y varias organizaciones asociadas lanzaron este año la campaña de educación, Deja Huella Edúcate. Este evento es una parte importante de la iniciativa que busca incrementar el número de graduandos latinos en Los Ángeles.
