Hacia Una Vida Digna y Sana: Promotora and Community Health Worker Conference

The Visión y Compromiso (VyC) coordinates a unique conference experience that provides Promotores and Community Health Workers (CHWs) the opportunity to network, share best practices, develop leadership skills, and build their capacity as critical resources to their communities. The VyC conference goals include:  (1) facilitate networking, dissemination of best practices, and resource sharing among Promotores and CHWs, program directors and others interested in the work of Promotores; (2) create learning opportunities that increase the capacity of Promotores and CHWs to serve their communities; (3) inform policymakers and public officials about the impact and skills of Promotores and CHWs ; and (4) strengthen the Promotores and CHWs movement in California.
