Free Arts for Abused Children Agencies Conference 2009: Strengthening Our Programs, Serving You Better

This conference is a wonderful opportunity for current partner agencies and prospective new agencies to get to know the Free Arts staff and to learn more about the innovative arts programs for abused, homeless and at-risk children. The day's theme is: Strengthening Our Programs, Serving You Better.

Dr. John Biroc will be the guest speaker discussing Free Arts' philosophy of focusing on the creative process rather than the final product.  Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Free Arts' programs themselves by participating in a hands-on art project conducted by a Free Arts volunteer.  Agencies will also have the opportunity to help shape Free Arts' growth plan, to broaden and deepen our programs, by sharing their input on the Free Arts' programs that they have participated in and on other programs or support that they would like to receive.  Potential new partner agencies will be able to contribute to the conversation by advising on the programs and program-models that would enhance their core services.
