Comenzando bien® Training

July 29, 2008

Comenzando bien® is a culturally and linguistically appropriate prenatal curriculum for Latino families. The curriculum is available in both Spanish and English and is designed to:

  • provide information to Latina women about pregnancy and healthy pregnancy behaviors.
  • help participants overcome barriers to care and become assertive, informed consumers of prenatal care services.

Each Comenzando bien® session contains learning objectives, key messages, a materials toolbox, and a step-by-step lesson plan that can be adapted to meet your clients' needs.

This event will be held at the California Endowment Center for Healthy Communities - Yosemite Hall A 1000 N. Alameda St. Los Angeles, 90012.

Event times: 7:30am-4:00pm
