Best Start LA Request for Qualifications Information Session

First 5 LA is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to individuals and organizations interested in working with First 5 LA Commissioners and staff to serve as Community Based Action Research (CBAR) Technical Assistance contractor. The CBAR Technical Assistance contractor will work with the Best Start LA Demonstration Community Lead Entities in their implementation of a community planning process that builds knowledge that a community creates, owns and transforms into social capital for social change. The Best Start LA Demonstration Communities are focused on increasing the number of children who achieve appropriate social, emotional, cognitive, language, physical and motor development milestones to the best of their potential. Best Start LA will also focus on engaging all elements of a community in creating a "baby-friendly and toddler-friendly" environment.
