2010 Lewis B. Smedes Conference on Foster Care & Adoption

Parents, social workers, counselors, ministry professionals and students are invited to attend this conference and receive resources and training in issues related to foster care and adoption. Conference attendees will receive seven continuing education units after participating in a full day's schedule of speakers and workshops. Conference sessions will cover a wide array of topics including:- Navigating the Dependency Court System
- Grief and Loss in the Life of a Foster Child
- Understanding the Legal Rights of Foster Children & Families
- Emotionally Resilient Parenting

Child S.H.A.R.E. is a nonprofit agency working to find safe and loving homes for foster children through faith communities across Southern California. This conference is an annual Child S.H.A.R.E. event, sponsored in partnership with Fuller Theological Seminary and L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
