| Carolyn R. Wilder is currently a Professor of Child Development at West Los Angeles College. She is the Co-Founder of Tender Care Child Development Center and Wilder's Preparatory Academy Charter School (k-8). Her career began as a Head Start Teacher for Delta Sigma Theta Head Start and the Los Angeles Unified School District. She held the position of Parent Coordinator with Head Start and implemented programs for over 600 families. She was a part of the implementation of all 9 Child Development Center's for the Los Angeles Community College District as well as developing and implementing the curriculum for the Child Development Department at West Los Angeles where she serves a Department Chairperson. She founded her own consultant company, Child Care Centers, Inc. and provided consultant services to set up child care facilities on site for corporations and businesses. |
