Neal Kaufman, M.D.

Neal Kaufman, MD, MPH., is the Co-Director of the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities and is a Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Schools of Medicine and Public Health.

He is also the founder of The Diabetes Prevention Source, an innovative small business dedicated to the prevention of obesity and type 2 diabetes. As a leader in local, state and national efforts to improve the health of children and families, Dr. Kaufman is an expert on community health and health advocacy for women and children.
