| Cynthia Harding, an alternate commissioner representing the LA Co. Dept. of Public Health, serves as director of Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health programs. During her 20 years in public health, she has been involved in tobacco control, childhood lead poisoning prevention, tuberculosis control, and AIDS prevention. Harding, fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, taught as a visiting professor at the National School of Public Health in Brazil. She holds a BA in community health from Brown University and an MPH from UCLA. |
