| Commissioner Jonathan Fielding serves as Director of Public Health and Health Officer for LA County, where he is responsible for the full range of public health activities for ten million county residents. He is also a Professor of Health Services and Pediatrics and Co-Director of the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities. He received his MD, MA and MPH. from Harvard University, and his MBA from the Wharton School. He is a nationally-known expert on and has published more than 150 scientific articles and edited several textbooks about public health issues such as prevention, economics, financing, and health promotion for children and families. |
