Alma D. Martinez has worked in the public affairs arena for more than 25 years. She is currently the principal at ADM Consulting specializing in strategic planning, public relations and government affairs. Commissioner Martinez is a former chief of staff to Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina. Commissioner Martinez was a visiting scholar for the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, where she conducted research on California’s term limits and elected official leadership development. In 2005, Commissioner Martinez was a member of a California State Assembly Speaker’s delegation to Stockholm, Sweden and Paris, France to study Model Universal Preschool Programs. She received her B.A. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. |
