Funding For:
Partnerships for Families
Project Corazon will provide intensive home-based services including case management, concrete services, intensive counseling and referrals to mental health, substance abuse programs, domestic violence, family support and auxiliary services to families referred by DCFS and at-risk pregnant women within the Belvedere District of the Department of Family and Children's Services, in the Service Planning Area 7 (SPA 7). In addition, project will provide capacity building activities to increase the collaborative organizational capacity and build a greater community-wide understanding of child abuse and neglect. The grant is for five years.

Project Corazon
Project Corazon serves Pregnant Woman and High Risk Families with a child, ages 0 - 5, referred by DCFS. All participants will receive comprehensive assessments, in-home and center-based services. Project Corazon will provide intensive home-based services, including case management and centered-based services to, families within the Belvedere District of the Department of Family and Children's Services, in the Service Planning Area 7 (SPA 7).

Project Escuelita School Readiness Program
The services of Project Escuelita School Readiness Program are designed to increase children's readiness for school by strengthening their parents' capacities to provide developmentally appropriate school readiness activities for their children that are 0 to 5 years of age. Services provided include: "Helping your Child Succeed in School/Kindergarten Enrichment and Intervention" Program; Home Based School Readiness Program; Motheread/Fatheread Family Literacy Program; Center Based Development Classes and Workshops; Parenting Workshops for children with special needs; Case Management and Linkages to school readiness resources, childcare, social and health services; Development Assessments and Linkages to health, social, and child development services; Transportation Services; and Kindergarten Transition Program.
