U.S. Department of Education Reading Institute

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) is convening the 2010 Reading Institute in Anaheim, California, July 19-21, 2010. The Reading Institute is a key part of ED's strategy to provide educators the support they need to provide high-quality literacy instruction and to assist State and local policymakers to develop effective, comprehensive pre-kindergarten to third grade literacy programs.

Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Education is convening the 2010 Reading Institute in Anaheim, California, July 19-21, 2010.  There will be an early learning strand which will cover what research tells us about developmentally appropriate early learning goals.
