February is National Children's Dental Health Month and First 5 LA would like to remind you that children should visit the dentist by 12 months of age or after the first tooth appears.

The following is a Give Kids A Smile FREE event for children under 12 years old. Free screenings, fluoride varnish, oral health education will be provided. Appointments are preferred, but not required. Contact M.E.N.D. at (818) 686-7337

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Parent University is a program designed to educate and empower parents with knowledge about their child's health.  Open to parents of children of all ages, these free classes are held on the first Saturday of every month at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.  The 12-1p class is taught in English and the 1-2p session is taught with Spanish interpretation.  Each class focuses on a different general pediatrics topic.
