Cesar Chavez Walk & FestivalThe Annual Chavez Day Walk & Festival is the largest community celebration in honor of the California state holiday of service and learning commemorating Chavez's life of service. The event includes a walk and a community education and entertainment festival for the whole family to educate, empower and serve the community. The event will take place at La Placita Overa/Olvera Street, 125 Paseo de la Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Filipino American Library's Children's Reading Program EventThe Filipino American Library (FAL) will help promote the value of diversity through the very first event of its Children's Reading Program. It will feature author Dan Manalang and his book Ambrosia, recommended for children ages 3-8. Food and drinks will be provided. This event will be held at the Filipino American Library, 135 N. Park View St, Los Angeles, 90026.
